Default koni fitment issues

are koni shocks/stuts the same diameter as the stock suspension of a 2000 honda civic ? tryin to buy skunk2 coilover springs .

You need special adapters to use those coilovers w/ koni shocks (shock bodies and spring seats are different). Get a hold of Skunk2 and ask them about it.

That is the ground control setup I use. They are designed to sit directly on the koni snap ring, and you can order them in any spring rate/length you want. One major bonus is that the sleeves for the rear are fully threaded (instead of the top 2/3) alowing you to use the same lenth springs in the front & rear. This means you can swap springs front to rear to tune your suspension, and you don't have to buy so many extra springs for serious tuning. Their quality is as good (better in my opinion) than skunk2, and their collar locking mechanism is way easier than "jam nut" method everyone else uses.
