Yes, they are cheaper than full coilovers and ride nice. I'm running stock tophats, and assuming most others are.
You don't have to buy the special "koni" Ground Controls, the others that fit KYBs and such will work and are cheaper. You just have to knock the brake line bracket off the old shocks (working around the bracket) with a drift punch or something and tap them on the new shocks.
