Default Knocking Sound

Recently, I started having this knocking sound coming from the undercarriage of my EK hatch. Upon releasing of the throttle and flooring on it therafter, there is a knock sound. It sounds like something is hitting the undercarriage. Replaced my rear engine mounting which was cracked but the sound is still there. Anyone experienced this? Is this a symptom of undercarriage bushings in need of replacements?

So it only occurs when you give it the gas/accelerate?

Is it a constant rhythmic knock that gets faster the higher you rev the engine?

Nope, it just knocks once and thats it. It sounds like a wooden plank wrapped in a blanket and you hit it on a wooden table.

Maybe one of your axles is going out. Check the CV boots for tears.

At every speed? Around turns? Accelerating?

It happens when I am going straight. I don't usually release the throttle and floor it in mid turn. So long as I release the throttle completely and step on it hard thereafter, it happens.

Problem solved. Turned out ot be a loose battery hold tray. Tightened it down and am good to go. Thanks all for the inputs.
