Knocking from rear when braking
As the title states, when im coming to a stop I hear a loud knocking from the passenger rear. It has only started doing this after I had installed my 5 speed. A friend told me that one of the brake pads has possibly shattered. But Im hoping for a different answer from you guys. Nothing is loose. Car is a 96 civic ex. Its lowered on egay coils.

Re: Knocking from rear when braking
Thought it was the brakes simply because it made the same sound when the pads in my brothers hatch had shattered. Also the e-brake barely works, have to pull it all the way up for it to keep the car stopped, on flat land, however on a hill. Its a lost cause.

Curious as to why your bro's pads shattered. Also, did you figure your prob out yet?
