my D seies engine is knocking to the rev. what is it? can it be the head? or did i spina bearing in the crank? when i was last driving it i would give it throttle but very little go.. and car backfired and misses out:S

mine knocks on idle..very low idle. i think it may be the timing belt not aligning right.
