knocking noise
O.K. so I have a B16a and it had a turbo bleeder bypass on the oil pressure sensor that was welded shut it broke open and after I took it off and changed my oil when I start my car the knocking noise starts it not consistent and it knocks when im idling and accelerating but not decelerating. Also it has effected the performance of my car I was thinking it would be the rockers but not sure any ideas?

Re: knocking noise (Tyler Con)
you have a b16a right? B stands for twin cams therefore it can't be the rocker since twin cams don't have rockers. if you have a steady knocking most likely you spun a bearing. since oil was involved then thats most likely it because i'v had that experience. i had a motor that had a leak at the oil pan gasket and never knew about it and drove about a months on it untill i heard a knocking and then when i checked the motor, it was bone dry. no oil. that was the end of that motor.
