knock sensor cel...from mounts? need help
I've got a '95 hatch with a b series in it. It has the knock sensor hooked up and wired correctly. The other day while driving my cel came on and it was a code 23 (knock sensor). I also have Innovative Motor Mounts that are the race stiffness polyurethane. I've talked to a few friends of mine and they said that the vibration from the solid mounts might be causing the knock sensor to trip. Is this true? It only comes on after the cars been running a while. And if the sensor is really catching a knock in my motor, wouldn't it send me into limp mode? Please help me. Gotta fix it, its my daily. I've got a new sensor to put in but i wanted to see your take on it guys. Thanks.

Check your connection to the sensor. If corrosion is present it will affect the signal.
Might want to used some WD40.

the mounts doesn't affect the knock sensor, your motor vibrates regardless, the mounts just makes the whole car vibrate
