knock sensor.. any advice?

knock sensor.. any advice?
ok .. ive got a gsr with a p72 obd1... i had a socked p28 but ended up swapping for ap72..know i have cel 23 (knocksensor) so i had it pinned in and sill throwing code.. so i replaced the knock sensor..still trowing code.. im going in tomorrow and my mechanic is going over his wiring agian tomorrow but cany anyone give me any advice? could this be something with my oil pressure ? help please!!

Are you using a GSR engine and cockpit harness? Or did you have to wire in the knock sensor yourself? If so, you may want to use shielded wiring instead of just normal wires. However, some people on here just use normal wires and it works fine, but the factory harness uses shielded wiring.

I meant what station. Considering our state average is around $3.20, I can't imagine any gas station legally having $0.40 over average.

Ok back to the code 2 things when you swapped the engine make sure 1 you have shielded wire form the sensor to the ecu 2
There is no continuity between sensor wire and the wires shielding. 3 make sure shielding is grounded.
