Going to replace the air cleaner and am switching to KN. Which is better? The stock replacement or the kit that KN sells?

A Drop in K&N filter is not a bad conservative upgrade.

I would say you might benifit from minimal gains, and an increase of sound while under throttle.
Also the ability to clean and re-oil (reusable) with the K&N recharger kit.
And wont cause a problem with smog/emissions laws.

The only thing I suggest when re-applying the oil after cleaning the filter is not to over oil it.

If your looking for power you reallly won get any. Maybe 1 horse. It would be worth it for better throttle response and better sound if thats what your pulling for.
