Default Kinda new to the civic family

First off I use to own a 07 2dr si I just drove the hell out of it never did any mods and now 9 yrs later I bought a Canadian civic si coupe and am looking for some help on some of the issues it has when I revv the motor I get a clank as it goes back to idle position I have a cracked manifold at the 4-2 split but that shouldn't cause the noise being that it's bolted tight any ideas ??? Cause I can't find anything loose

I know it sounds insane that a cracked manifold attached to a vibrating engine would make noise. But...if you think about it....it actually doesn't sound insane at all. It sounds like your cracked manifold or related heat shield is making noise.

You should inspect it. I don't hear any noise related to your car. Because I'm typing this over the internet.

Rules exist for a reason. Read and follow them. Specifically, what RonJ said. That being said, one or more motor mounts are more than likely shot.

It's a 95 1.6l and I checked the manifold and it's making a slight rattle buts not the clank noise I will change the manifold soon as my eBay exhaust comes in (everybody don't cuss me out all at once ) it was just cheaper than buying just manifold and motor mounts are a good place to look I'll update tomorrow on my findings just hope it's not internal hate to buy a motor that costs more than the car did
