Changing your engine doesn't change the body style of the car. You still have an EG, but with a different engine. If you swapped a k series into your civic would it now be a DC5? Nah, but no question is stupid if you don't know the answer so don't hesitate to ask as long as you search first.

I dont understand the question that you are asking. I believe what your trying to ask is what chassis model your car is? 92-95 is EG, and 96-00 is EK. The engine that is in your car is from a integra. So again, i really dont understand what you are asking.

K series motor's dont just come from DC5's (RSX) either.

Some people dont, especially the kind of people like the one in the OP asking if the motor in his car changes his chassis code. Just putting the information out there so they dont get confused and go on thinking the wrong thing.

An engine swap does not dictate the chassis code of a car.

Chassis codes usually stick to certain models (Civic, Integra, CR-V, etc) and don't include more than that one model unless the two models are based on the same chassis underneath. Like some JDM Civic sedans and some other models that are based off of them that are sold in Japan also.

Chassis codes always are particular for a certain year range ('92-'95, '96-'00, etc).

Usually a car with the same chassis code is going to share some of the following too:
- engine (series and literage, sometimes exact same engine)
- body style
- driveline (FWD, RWD, 4WD)

Look here for more information on your model. These are just USDM chassis, but your car, even if you do a full conversion, will NEVER be a true JDM car or a car sold in any other country. Some chassis codes extend over more than one country, but even though the EJ8 (for example) is also sold in Europe, my EJ8 is NOT EDM and never will be a true EDM vehicle.

There aren't that many codes for 6th gen Civics. The following are all the 6th gen Civic codes.

EJ6 - Civic 2D/3D/4D - D16Y non-VTEC
EJ7 - Civic 2D - D16 VTEC-E
EJ8 - Civic 2D/4D - D16 VTEC
EJ9 - Civic 3D/4D - D14
EK1 - Civic 3D/4D - D16Y (VTEC-E I believe)
EK2 - Civic 3D/4D - D13B
EK3 - Civic 3D/4D - D15B
EK4 - Civic 3D/4D - B16A
EK5 - Civic 4D - D16A 4WD
EK6 - Civic 3D - ?
EK7 - Civic 3D - ?
EK8 - Civic 4D - D16A 4WD LEV
EK9 - Civic 3D - B16B
EM1 - Civic 2D - B16A
EN1 - Civic 4D - D16B VTEC CNG

The USDM ones are only the EJ6, EJ7, EJ8, EM1 and EN1.

Hahaha dude. Why would you think swapping the motor would change the type of car you have??
