kill switch problems
well i tried to install a fuel pump kill switch today on my 95 ex.
I cut the yellow wire with the green stripe by the fuel pump. I hooked it up to a switch and when i started the car a fuse blew and my car won't start. So i replaced the fuse with a new one and it blew again. So i just took the switch out and connected the fuel pump wire back together put in a new fuse and it started.
I think the switch i have is a 10 amp. Do i need a 20 amp switch? Did i put the switch on the wrong wire? I am using butt connectors to connect the fuel pump wire to the wires that go to the switch and i am using 14 guage wire.
