Key Ignition thing is broken
I don't know if somebody tried to steal my car, or i did this somehow, but now my cars ignition is stuck in the aux position. When I try to put the key in, it only goes about half way into the hole, I can still turn it on and all that, but I can't turn the car all the way off. I know next to nothing about that stuff, so does anybody know how I can fix it or how this could have happened?

it depends on where u get em..and if u wanan install it urself, it also depens on how much u kno...but i would get it professionally done just to be on the safe side

its pretty easy to install.. but like previously said depends on how much you know about cars and what not. not everyone knows how to change a tire and not everyone knows how to swap a motor. but worst comes to worse ask a friend who is familiar with things like this to help you.

what do you mean when you say you think someone tried to steal your car??? any damage to the car itself from a theft or break in???? ¿

Well, I don't really see how I could have done this myself without knowing. When I got to my car this morning my stereo was on, seems like I would have noticed that...I figure somebody just tried to start it with a flat head screw driver. But who knows, I might be wrong.
my car was unlocked (don't ask), so it would be kind of hard to tell if it was broken into

i have a 99 civic ex and mine did the same thing, i ended up having to have it towed cause i couldn't turn on the car......it ended up being the igniton switch, and there was a recall on it so i didnt have to pay anything,
