keep getting code 1 WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK i got a 95 vx hatchback with a b18b swap.
it recently started feeling sluggish throughout the whole rpm range
i got on it today to try to get the cel to come on and guess what,.... it did
flashes once real fast which is o2 sensor
i replaced the o2 and reset the ecu and it ran fine
then i got on it again and low and behold another check engine light flashing code1 again
wtf could it be any help is greatly appreciated especially since i have a couple runs setup for tommorow.

maybe u could test out another ecu. see if it does that as well. i had that similar problem before.

If you are using a non-VX engine harness in your swap
-Your signal wire is not reaching the ECU
-The VX engine harness has an extra plug which the signal wire to the ECU is in
-This extra plug is unused in the swap but it has the wire (orange with blue stripe) which runs to pin location D14 (o2 sensor signal)
-Find the signal wire from the o2 sensor(usually white), trace it back to the shock tower plugs, it should be on one of the big ones
-Wire color for me was white with red stripe, depin it and plug it into the correct slot (orange with blue stripe) on the VX plug that was unused in the swap
-You can also depin the orange with blue stripe wire from the unused VX plug and pin it into the back end of the white with red stripe plug, it looks cleaner this way.
A multimeter will do wonders cause you will have a shorter time tracing the wires if you use the connectivity setting.

okay but how many wires is on the clip that has the blue/orange stripe, and which shock tower are the clips at in the first place.

i got your answer right here, the signal wire you are looking for runs to D14, on the 8 wire engine harness plug (plugs into 5wire o2 plug) find the one thats orange w/ a blue stripe, thats the one that runs to D14, everything else is self explanatory in most cases, if not, let me know.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME EXACTLY THIS.
WHAT SHOCK TOWER ARE THE CLIPS ON THAT THE WIRES ARE IN
HOW MANY WIRES ARE ON THE 2 CLIPS THAT I NEED TO FIND AND WHICH OF THE TWO HAS THE WHITE/RED AND WHICH HAS THE ORANGE/BLUE
THIS IS ALL I NEED TO FIX THE PROBLEM PLEASE HELP

Re: (saccord)
depin the orange/blue wire from the 6 wire plug, this plug should be the one that is unused in the swap and the wires run towards to ECU.
find the plug with 9 wiresm you will need to look at the side running towards the ECU, look inbetween the black/red wire and brown/black wire, it should be towards the bottom or top of the plug dependin on how you look at it. there's no wire here so take the rubber piece out and pin the orange/blue wire you depinned earlier into the now empty slot.
the wires should now be from left to right.. black/red, orange/blue, brown/black
at least that's the colors on my VX
this should rid you of the CEL
if your wire colors are different you need to look at the FAQ section in this forum and find slot D14 on the ECU, note the color of the wire running into it, it will be the same as orange/blue in what I just wrote..
again, this is if you're using a 4 wire o2 sensor and b18b1 engine harness.

So...it seems to me that if the CEL never came on before...then maybe...just MAYBE...you might need a new O2 sensor...
