Default keep blowing wheel bearing on passenger side help

alright i had a new wheel bearing installed about a month ago everything went fine til last night. i changed a axle out cuz i thought it went bad went for alil driv and the wheel bearing went out. grabbed the knuckle of my other car a ex and put it on my si. this is also a brand new wheel bearing. went to the starved rock meet today and the wheel bearing went out again. i dont think its bad luck that both went out like that. any clues wuts goin on here??

WTF? There is no way the bearing it self wore out that fast it has to be another problem.. Is the bearing itself comming out or somthing? Are you sure your using the right bering for your application? can you post me some pics?

no the bearing is in there alright. this happened 2 times in to days. only other thing that was changed was the axle. how would a axle cause ur bearing to go bad??

are you torqueing the axle nut down all the way? thats realy strange man, did you get your bearing from honda? I wouldnt get them from autozone ect.

yea torrque down correctly and they were both oem honda bearings. imma try to change the axle out and c if that does anything. but dam every try costs me about 100 bux.

yeah they are not cheap when you have to replace them after a few days lol is the bearing making noise? make sure it is pressed in properly.

I don't think thats a wheel bearing my friend sound more like a steering or alignment issue. wheel bearing would just make a loud humming sound or maybe some vibration if it got realy bad.

grab the front wheel and try to move it, if theres play one of 3 things is going on:

1) you have a bad wheel bearing
2) the axle nut isn't tight
3) you have a screwed up aftermarket axle where the end is slightly too long so the nut buttoms out but doesn't tighten on the bearing to draw the two races together.

it moves about a inch in and out. actually i kinda noticed that the axle nut dosent go on as far as it used to. the part u press in so it wont unscrew is out like a quarter inch more than usual. i think thats wut might b happening here thx imma get a new axle and c what happens tommarow
