k24 swap
eyy i got a full k24 swap so im pulling the gsr out and dropping in the k24, i'm just looking for a little more info on the whole k swap thing, before i start cutting my car up lol. can anyone post up what exactly im going to need to get this motor in my car and running?

honestly you don't need as many parts as you're going to need time and labor.
Parts needed will be mounts(hasposrt or hybrid), karcepts shift kit, header, intake, conversion harness(i believe hybrid sells them). After that just make it happen. good luck. I'll be doing my k swap in about a month.

Going to need to customize the exhaust, even with the correct header, it will not meet right with the factory midpipe, and you need to do some custom fabrication to make the ends meet correctly.

ok welding and modding my exhaust is cake im not worried about that.
another thing, i know ima get bitched at but....I WANT MY AC LOL....i have a race car already and im not trying to build another....

i wanna know about what it takes to install the mounts, if the fuel system need modification, etc....whats the hardest part about the swap?

fuel system will need some modification. You'll have to convert the k20 fuel system into a return type of the civics. You'll need a fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, and and possible a fuel gauge. ofcourse some fuel lines aswell. Takes everyones advice and join k20a.org. I've been there for some time, and they even have a turorial posted with the step by step guide on how to swap a k20 into your car.

lol, yeah a tsx header will fit but stock header sucks a CRV/Accord/Element will not fit
