Dude look it up !. There is no mounts out there that can void the clearance issues with ek i dont know where u gettin ur sources from! My boy is having the same issue right now on his ek he can put the motor in, but he will have to lift up the hood from the bak about an inch. idk if he wants to go that route. do me a favor take this question to K20a.org im sure alot of those guys will tell you the same.

Re: K24 hood clearance issues
I have an EG hatch with a K24a2 and Hasport mounts. Yes there are hood clearance issues. It's a fairly simple fix tho'. You just have to cut some of the hood skeleton away over the IM area. I also put in an C&R Visteon full size EP3 radiator so I used a door **** saw to make room for the cap. To offset some of the weight difference between the original motor and the K motor I went with a CF hood and used my old steel hood as a template for removing the skeleton. It came out very nice and it was super easy to remove the skeleton pieces with a dremel tool. It is a little easier to work with an EG than an EK.

Re: K24 hood clearance issues
So If I use the ekk2 mounts, and remove some of the hood skeleton, the k24 will drop right in with no other problems?
