K23A1 in civic hatch
After getting some feedback from some of you guys, i was actually given the idea to swap in a k23a1 instead of the regular k20. Now this is a pretty cool idea but i need to know where can i actually find the engine from and then finding parts for it to sit in the civic engine bay properly and then upgrading the turbo system for more power. What do you guys think about it ? another dud or could it be a really really good build up if done correctly

k23a1? I never knew about this engine. I think you mean a k24a1 out of the Accord and the CRV. Its possible to do but I dunno if mount kits are available for that engine yet.

it's the new turbo engine out of the rdx
k20/k24 swaps are a dime a dozen now

K23A1
A RSX, TSX, Type R, or EP3 transmission won't bolt up with this motor. Which means you'd have to use the RDX AWD tranny and it would require custom everything. I'm not saying it's not possible cause just about anything is possible when you have enough money, it'd just be easier to swap in a K20 or K24 and turbo it to save yourself lots of trouble.
