Default K20A in Civic EG

I was wondering if somebody would help me to swap a k20 in my eg like step by step guide

I guess I'll take the hit;

In regards to why you need 10K is because,

1. The motor willl run approximately 4-6K
2. Mounts from Hasport will run 800
3. You will need to have the fuel system converted 300
4. You will need to run hondata = 1K
5. Labor will probably be 1K

So yea, all in all youre looking at a swap that will run you anywhere between 8-10 grand. Good luck!

8K if you cut corners but whats the sense in that if you could do a B-series that performs just as well

hytech adjustable length header
t1r ek midpipe
hytech twin loop axle back exhaust
RBC intake manifold w/Speedwerx adapter plate
hondata intake manifold gasket
custom CAI piping (MOTO-C)
PrototypeRacing velocity stack w/K&N filter
Toda Flywheel (8.1 lb - chromoly)
Exedy stg2 cerametallic clutch
Hasport axles (stg1)
Hasport mounts (ekk1)
hasport fan switch
Aeromotive FPR
custom fuel line set up (-6an aeroquip startlite lines, earls ano-tuff fittings, earls fuel filter, marshall shock proof FP gauge)

walbro 195 fuel pump
C&R 1/2size radiator w/Karcepts mount
Spal 1200cfm 12" slim fan
K-pro
Karcepts shift kit

autozone 50.5" 7-rib belt

granted you NEED everything I listed but you will NEED most of it

Do some research, dont expect other ppl to guide you...gotta learn for yourself so you'll know what and what to do and wont have to rely on otther ppl...but for going k20

yhea, he'll need a good chunk of change. But I have a friend that just finished a CRX with a 1st generation K-series swap, and the shell included, and ecu and all. under $5k($4900). plus a k-series is worth it, just don't give info that's not exact cuz you don't look smarter doing it, just let them spend whatever THEY want. good luck with the k-series. we expect 12.6-12.8 out of our k-series.
