Default k20 swap info ? ? ?

I just spent about 20 minutes searching under K20 swap looking for info on it in a EK chassis. I want to know what is exactly needed to do this and where could I get it. Thanks

Everything needed but the header can be found at Hasport. From what I understand, the header is coming soon, but there are custom fabricators such a DTR that can make you one now.

PM brian g if you want to know more.

How about wiring. Could it be found there. Before I made this thread I went to their site and could not find anything on kseries wiring

They haven't updated their website yet, but it is all for sale right now. The pnp harness is 3 or 400 bucks.

hndarcrb18c1 will be posting the wiring info in a few days if you want to DIY. He says it is really easy, "Trust me when I say its easier than a B swap!!! I had the motor in the car in 10 minutes!"

A guy here in SC put a k20a2 in his 99 hatch, and hegot everything he needed form Hasport, but I think he paid like $600 for his harness.

He had to get the header custom made.

K20a or K20a2 swap
custom Axles (hasport or other)
custom header (hasport or other)
reflash of ECU (unless you plan to leave stock & use original key )
remount radiator or by a custom one (for RSX-S) & custom mount it
Motor Mounts (hasport or other)
custom fuel system: rail, lines, regulator (see https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=3)
EP3 (02+ civic si) idler pulley since you can't have power steering
EP3 throttle cable
K-series clutch slave cylinder
K-series/custom clutch line
90-97 accord or 94-97 Prelude shift box
Uncut engine harness for USDM K20a2
Uncut engine/charging harness (battery cable & alternator lines)
Uncut EK engine harness (hasports charge of $400 does not include the core you supply)
6 speed shift ****
engine temp switch/sensor (hasport or B series)
radiator hoses
heater hoses
resurface the clutch or get a new one

make sure you get the primary (wideband) o2 sensor
K series shift cables

if you are going to reflash or reprogram(K-pro) the ECU make sure you have all receipts & vin documention

unless you wanna ride around with 160-170 whp...I would get at least an ECU reflash if not the fully programmable K-pro ($990) & then get it tuned by a reputable shop/person

It is more complicated than B series but people are doing them all over the place.. EG and EK

Look at this last swap I saw today on my website k20a.org

Any questions you have, I would be happy to help... I am sure you understand why I cannot cover the whole swap.... Look at topics people have created includuing myself...

One thing I would like to know concerning the EK K-series swap is how low the oilpan hangs. I know on EGs the pan hangs incredibly low, especially with K20EGs mounts (basically the entire oilpan is below the bumper). I was wondering if EKs were the same way...

Yes it is.

Didn't you get some Hasport mounts for your own swap? How is that going?

No you can't retain power steering because there are hood clearance issues, even with the supporting cut out it still won't close.
