K-swap resources
So im knocking the rust off. Ive been out of the honda game for a few years and I am currently deployed in Afghanistan. I got a killer deal on the 'Almost" hatch of my dreams. RHD Boosted eg. Only problem is LS motor. Its just a personal dislike that i have for them i know they are good so dont get all bent out of shape. Moral of my story since I am a few years older now I feel like i need to step my game up and go K-series. Problem is Im not sure where to get the stuff from for the swap for the best price. I trust hmotors for the engine but where can i get the best deal on mounts and everything else for the swap? I would appreciate any info. thanks

Check out hybrid-racing, hasport, k-tuned, etc. K20a.org had a huge list of sponsors. Skunk 2 is also breaking into the kswap scene now with allll kinds of accessories. Check out the k20a.org sponsor list. Read, gather info/opinions, and make your decision from there.

Good isht then. Seriously. I love hybrid-racings products, I'd kill to get their stuff for a kswap if I ever get the money.
On a side note, ktuned came up with a ecu immobilizer eliminator that serves as a replacement for kpro from hondata. Allows you to use the stock ecu without having it chipped to get rid of the immobilizer that comes stock on certain ecus to prevent theft/swapping (at least that's what I've gathered from their info). I say this because kpro is one of the most expensive components of a kswap. The only downside is that you don't have the ability to get it tuned with the immobilizer, it just runs stock ecu as far as I can tell. Look into it.

Re: K-swap resources
Again.... thanks I know K-series isnt the best dollar for dollar swap but its the only swap i havent done yet. Also im sure i can get a few bucks for the boosted ls setup. The only thing im worried about it clearance.... from what i heard the oil pan sits dangerously low and i love riding slammed=(.

Re: K-swap resources
The only reason i did a kswap was that it was a challenge. Hasports mounts wil giv the best ground clearance. Also use a k24 steel oilpan. They r shortr. I hav both with no weel gap but no tucking i hav 5 fingers of clearance
