K Swap Newbie questions

K Swap Newbie questions
I have a 96 EK and am going to try to do a K-swap in it but need some general info...
Want to do this as cheap as possible, but also be clean not hacked up....
all i know for sure right now is that i will get Hasport mounts, other than that i need some insight on price difference vs performance
Axles - hasport vs rsx axles modified to fit vs other ideas??
Shifter box - rsx-s shifter box vs other ideas?? any diy on making own??
Engine - k24 or k20a, prolly get k24 so later on do k24/k20 hybrid
Tranny - EP3 - 5speed - again dont want to speed lots of ??
ECU - japanese ecu vs Kpro vs US Ecu modified
?? what else do i need??

k24a4's = cheapest OR k20a3's seem to be really cheap
ep3 swaps in total are usally cheaper than a gsr swap.
90-97 accord manual on the shifter box. make your own adapter kit out of sheet alum.
relocate the rad on your own.
k20a-r ecu
hasport mounts are the MOST expensive on the market.
hybrid racing, and place racing are much cheaper solutions
it depends on tools paticence vs money.
if you can do the axels itll take you longer but save more money, same with making you're own shifter consle mount.
but you know that already that's life haha
you need an adapter harness, chraging harness, starter, alt, crv engine bracket, IM, depending on ps a/c or niether the ps pump, ac system or the ep3 idler pulley and you need to figure out which serpintine length you want to run,

its not really cheap, its like saying doing a b18b swap instead of a built type-r swap is cheaper
