K SWAP HELP!!!!!! HELP
Hey guys, i recently purchased a K20A from a female, yes a female, but like some females, she didnt know s@#t about where or what it came out off, and i really didnt look at it cause she wanted dirt cheap for it. bad idea. now my queston is, hwo do i figure out what it came out of? and i did some research and found that its a rbc cylinder head and its got 3 lobes on both cams so it has the good vtec from what i hear, but it also has a rbc intake, but it doesnt clear the mounts on the pulley side??? whats the problem, whoever had it before tried to grind the pulley mounts down for clearence? it has the K-TUNED AC & PS delete kit on it but i dont think thats why..... can some one help figure out my problem.

Might want to try this in the Hybrid forums since none these Civics ever came stock with a K-series engine. However, if you can't find the answer on K20a.org you're going to be hard pressed to find it here.

pics of what your talking about.
i have a kswap (k24a2)with an RBC and have the AC/PS delete pully and have no clearence problem
although i did shave off the oem pulley thingy
dont be scared to take a grinder to the manifold and make things fit.

Re: K SWAP HELP!!!!!! HELP
all kseries intake gasket will work, you jus have to cut off the end piece.
check meh thread cuz http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=76744
i have a k24a2 motor (head/block) with RBc.
the RBC head and intake go together...there is the coolant jacket on the end correct?
is that what you are talking about? the pullly side right?
is the head and block both the same? (k20a) since there has been alot of k24/20 motors put together
