It's a stock intake assembly with a K&N filter sticker on it. Most likely the owner has a drop-in filter in it.

K&N actually does make a 'warm air intake' I had one on my integra.....

The intake was called a typhoon system.

I have a drop in k&n filter in my soon to be gone truck also. Funny thing, I can't here it though. It must be my exhaust with no catalytic converter and glass packs overwhelming it

it doesnt...

just a bad rumor that wrapping hurts your header...truth=wrong!.

wrapping your header is not any more harmful than driving the car.

as already stated it is a stock airbox with a drop in filter.

and not only does k&n make "warm air intake" they came out with a cai similiar to the aem not too long ago. im sure there isnt too much difference in the two.
