K&N air filter, worth the money?
Hi, i've been doing a little research on the K&N air filter and i've come across mixed opinoins on its performance and if it really makes a difference. I'm really interested in just getting better gas mileage with the gas prices now adays, i was just wondering if the investment on a K&N stock replacement air filter is worth the money for my 92 dx totally stock. any help is much appreciated.

I didnt notice a difference in power or fuel milage with my drop in. (Im assuming you mean the drop in and not the filtercharger) The main advantage I see is its reusuable. Really your not going to see much of any difference no matter what intake/filter you choose on a stock motor.

Hey np jusstoogood
I just figured there was enough info there for you to get an idea on some setups other then stock.
I can only say just as brooksto has if your stock a filter isn't going to give you anything noticable.
So as far as <FONT COLOR="blue">"worth the money"</FONT>
I'd say no.
