Has anybody in here used nitrous on their turbo setup? I have jus been wondering if anyone has used it and if so what type of kit and what where the results.

Come people I know at some point or another someone has used nitrous on their turbo civic. I am actually just putting a small shot on fo fun but i want to get peoples input and experiences.

When doing this, you're going to have to consult your tuner because the addition of nitrous will inevitibly cause leaner AFRs. If you tune for it, there's no reason it can't work well and be safe; however, you will have to tune for it...hopefully your EMS will support that

your best bet on here is the "official nitrous thread" in the FI fourm. there is a guy on there from wizards of nitrous who knows a **** ton of info. you will also come to find that everyone is afraid of nitrous really. i had a zex wet 50 shot on my single cam before i swaped and it was a blast. i never went nitrous/turbo but from what i read you get more out of a shot becouse of the cooling along with the shot itself.


just keep an eye on your timing, i didnt pull enough out and develpoed a knock in cylinder 3. this was also a motor with 250,000 miles on it that i beat on mercilously everyday with almost no timing pulled

Thanks for the input. I have been thinking abou this almot the entire time I have been over here and now that I am almost home I have to decide weather to go ahead and buy the parts or not. I intend on installing all my new parts then taking the car to the tuner before anything.

thats the thread there. i suggest pulling mroe timing then you think you will need to for the first spray. you can always add timing back in till its perfect. tuning is DEF the way to go though.
