Default Just a thought, but people w/hybrid hatches help

I am toying w/some ideas. Scenrio A) I keep my Accord and buy a bike
or the one you would like more B, I sell my Accord for around $8k, or more if I get some 16yr old, and buy a 92-95 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatch

What can I do for $8k, w/the engine being the most important. If I got a gsr engine, what could I expect to run in the 1/4 w/i/h/e?

or get a type r engine?

With a type r engine...13's.
I don't know about a GSR..I'd think high 13's or very low 14's.

sell your accord. get a CX or a VX hatch, B18C1 GSR swap. with i/h/e on street tires you should easily hit low 14's, on slicks 13's. save more money and turbo charge that motor and hit some 11's. how about that? B18C5 is cool if you don't want to go ***** out and have tight budget but want an engine that will be fast enough and keep it stock. unless you have $$ to build that engine later.

get the bike, you'll go mucho faster in the 1/4 than you could ever dream of in a hatch with any bseries engine with any combo of i/h/e.
Plus, moreroom to be original with a bike and not get flamed for it. Too many clean hybrid hatches running around now, I eanna see some creativity and originality minus the Tackiness of apc euros

I agree. Clean is nice..but the term Rice is trown around so much..most here feel guilty spicing up their rides a little bit. Mabye not tail lights, but other creative things. Sleepers are one thing if you're into that...but all plain cars...how gay is that?

I'm not saying I want to see LED exhausts and bazooka bass tubes disguised as NOS bottles, but a few nice touches here and there!

what kind of bike are you thinking about buying. i'm in the same boat, want to buy a bike soon or dump more money on my car, but i can afford to get more speeding tickets, but a bike, hehe, you can get away alot quicker.
