Just swapped my motor. Now not accelerating as fast?
so i just put in another single in my 4dr after throwing rod. its and automatic and just my daily driver... I had the d16y7. and bought an imported d15b. im pretty sure i installed everything right i even took step by step pics of the pull out to remember where things went.... Now the problem is it takes forever to take off from a dead stop. i can literally floor it and it still wont speed up til around 3,000 or 4,000 rpm. i also noticed it bogs at around 1700. any ideas of what it could be????Thanks for any input.
(this was my first time swapping a motor.)
