Just replaced IAT Sensor - Still throwing Code #10 HELP!

Alrighty...so ever since i did my swap: d16z6 into a 94 Dx hatch. Ive been idleing between 2-3k. So i jumped me ECU and the codes its throwing is: IAT Sensor (10) and the EGR valve (12). Well i changed IAT sensor out with Brand New Sensor and its still throwing the code and the idle didnt drop at all. I hooked my car up to another p28 and it didnt change a thing. The only other thing i can think of is to check the Voltage and see if theres a short in the wiring.

Any other ideas anyone has? I dont believe d16z6's have EGR valves unless im mistaken. Any help would be much appreciated because im eating gas right now and i cant keep paying to fill up every couple days. Thanks in advance!

All you need to do is check to make sure that you have a good 5v refrence and then check your signal coming out of sensor then check the signal wire at ecu if there is any voltage drop then the wire needs to be repaired, same thing for 5v refrence, if you dont have 5v then repair your wire inbetween ecu and sensor.

Whenever you get the voltage off of the signal wire, let me know so I can compare it to a chart and see what the temp is in the intake manifold

So the voltage should be 5v? Correct? Im having a buddy help me so it might be awhile till were both free and have time to do it.

the way alot of the sensors work on the car or at least your two wire sensors are you have 5v coming in and as it goes through the sensor it will have a voltage drop. resistance changes with temp. so after it goes through the resistor what is left is figured on a chart say 5v goes in and the sensor has 20ohms of resistance which= 75 degrees (this is just an example not actual resistance value) so it drops to 2.5v out of the signal wire, so the ecu sees 2.5v and says hey I am running at 75 degrees and can alter the fuel to comensate for the dense air. but if you have 2.5v coming out of the signal then you should have 2.5v on signal wire at ecu. any voltage drop would mean that there is resistance in the wire and would change what the computer thinks as far as temp is concerned and not put in the right amount of fuel.
