itll be harder to steer. Why did you get rid of power steering? the whole 3 hp you might make?

yes overtime it will affect it. your rack was ment to have fluid around it to assist with ur steering. i have heard a couple of stories about racks failing after a year and a half without any fluid around it.

In the helm manual, it shows that the fluid does not lubricate the rack, its only to assist in steering. The gears in the rack are sealed from contact with PS fluid.

I removed the powersteering pump becuase I needed room for the pipe comping off the compressor side of my turbo.

When I removed my Power Steering, I looped the rack and attached a breather resevior to it. If you need more info, you can contact 'Padawan'.
