just put in my DIY MC brace
for the review..i actually noticed a difference in how much the pedal gets stiffer the farther you push down on the brake..
used:
2 90 degree simpsons 2x4 lumbar brackets
welded them together
made it look nice by grinding smooth
black spray paint
welded to the strut tower and used the one HONDA bolt that was remotely close
4" semi small bolt, 2 nuts on each side, and 1 lockwasher on each side
adjust the bolt semi snugly on the MS in the little dimple hole thingy..and ur set..
PIE
GOOD MOD FOR 3$ total...

If you're real handy with a welder you can also cut a c clamp in half more or less and attach it to your bracket so that the adjustment screw will hold against the end of your master cylinder. It give some adjustment factor so the m/c isn't fully stiffened at all times.

Re: just put in my DIY MC brace (slowdx)
A master cylinder brace does exactly that, it prevents you master cylinder from moving/flexing under hard braking, esp with the use of SS brake lines. The brake lines remove some of the normal expansion in your brake lines, and the brace adds to reduce the play, thereby giving a more direct/firm brake feel.
