Default Just picked up my 93 Si hatch for $750.00. What do you guys think.

The car was listed secret squirell style in the Seattle-Tacoma Craigslist. I had no idea that when I went to see the car it would be an Si. Long story short I bought it for $750, I just asked the guy what he wanted for it. The car has some history in Indiana so it has a little bit of cancer on the rear quarters so she is going to recieve Chemo-therapy. Was in minor accident no frame damage was just fender on driver side and the scrape in the rear driver quarter panel. I replaced the fender with the temp. certa fit until I order the JDM fenders. The I'm hella stoked and love the car already! Need some work but I only bought it for $750.00, I am already money ahead!

Engine looks pretty clean besides the heat shield

The body work to smooth out the cancer, fill the quarter, and paint bubbles shouldn't be all the expensive, seems like a great deal. Will their be progress soon?

I plan to do the body first I really can't stand seeing the rust. I have to research what it will run me for the body/paint. I know of a really good body man local here so I am going to drive up there and see what he will charge me for the work and when he can do it.

I will look into the cost of the quarter panels aswell as the labor for this. Might end up being the best choice in the end product being equal to it's original state.

Thanks for the offer on the rover but I think I am going to have to keep the hatch for now.

Only the 92-93 didn't say that cause mine's a 93 Si aswell and it doesn't say vtec on it. The 94-95 says vtec on it. That is a pretty good deal for an Si. I thinking about body work on mine aswell.

Yes, the car has a clean title. The body shop said the car needed repair to the suspension. The driver side rotr was cracked in half. I drove the car home. I will not take the car to macco simple fact I want quality work. I would rather pay $2,000 for a reputable person or shop to perform the paint/body on my hatch then go to macco and spend alot less.

As of my status on the car right now, I have a couple mice parts laying around. I plan to purchase JDM fenders, JDM bumper, JDM headlights and corners. THe back bumper is toast aswell so it will recieve the JDM looks aswell. Paint and body. If i decide to keep the car at that point I will dig alot deeper. I just want to restore this hatch properly so it soes not go to the wrecker for scrap. Stay tuned...
