Default Just to make sure, D15B2 block and Y8 head question

I can stay OBD 2 with this? like using my existing P2P ECU and my existing wire harness. Im sure its a yes but im just checking

You can but you need to add the crank poisition sensor and i think knock sensor from your previous motor. other then that yes.

or do i just plug it in and let it hang? and the knock sensor hole is there right?

nope, its built into the obd2 oil pumps im almost certain, but im sure there are no mounting points for the CPS.

obd2 crank position sensor is behind the timing cover, all others are in the dizzy.

OP: just run it obd1 and grab a dx (d15b7) dizzy.

that would be the simple way but i cant afford an ecu and another harness right now. But for teh CPS can i just plug it in and hang it somewhere and still have it work?

no, it wont pick up on the reluctor ring that way, has to be mounted in the exact spot. you could grab an obd1 dizzy and rewire it to run OBD2 since obd1 dizzy has the CPS intergrated.

can i run my car with it disconnected? if so would it effect anything. im already rocking 2 cel codes so what is one more

im just checking because i dont have the extra money to spend right now for an ecu. So if i can run my car fine with out it connected that would be good enough for me right now

your car wont run at all w/out it mounted, the only option is an ECU or dizzy and rewire. either way you gotta spend money.
