I just installed my exhaust system on my car, and when i was driving it, i was getting this wierd smell coming from the exhaust, it smelled like something was burnt like burnt plastic or something. What do you guys think it is?

unless its too close to something like your bumper, that smell will go away. All brand new exhaust systems do that.

Um, either you bolted it too close to something plastic under your car, you didn't bolt something up properly and it's leaking, you left some plastic on it and it's burning off, or it's burning off paint or chrome spray put on my the factory.

also new gaskets sometimes stink for a while, happened to me when i replaced my exhaust manifold gasket

I did put on some gaskets that they provided me and they feel like cardboard lol.must be breaking in to it.

I remember getting a full WS1 system and a new cat and the first few times I drove it, it smelled exactly like burning paper. No cardboard gaskets from Apexi that's for sure.

It was not touching anything, and the smell went away soon.
