Okay, my friend gave me his chikara header last night, they are 4 -2-1, and are from his 95 EX d16z6 coupe. I have a d15b7 95 DX coupe. The header fits but the only problem is, is the o2 sensor cable is too short or not in the right spot, i dont know, but it will not reach. The sensors hole to plug into is located on the 2nd piece of the header Is there an extension i can buy if so where, or is there something im missing or what? help please..

Cut and add an extension yourself. no such thing as an o2 extension. it wont hurt anything as long as you wire it correctly

I would just cut the plastic, and electrical tape on the harness, and you will be able to free up enough slack to reach back there.

um if i remember right the dx cat converter on the headers right??? and since you installed headers for an ex where the the cat converter is after the headers you wont have it setup correctly..

Not on the coupe it isnt. Its right after the second piece of the header. its on the underbody of the car.

I think on the hatch the cat is on the header though.

96-up DX have the cat/header combination....to my knowledge, all 92-95 have the cat underneith.

i dont know about the 92 - 95 hatches, but im positive the 93 - 95 coupes have the cat on the underbody

I did the same thing your doing when i still had my pos dx engine in. Just extend the wires, using a the same color wire for each will make things easier. I went to home depot got some 14 gauge wire and extend the wires, since the header was for a 92 si. Good luck

I did the same header install in a 96 Hx but now I ended up with one of the o2 sensors being unplugged. Is there anyway to fix this??? there is only one whole on the header so I only used one sensor.

Headers have been installed and the O2 sensor is now working yay! no more CEL!

and suprisingly, they pull pretty good for some shitty heddman headers! And they made my exhaust sound different..a little..better i guess
