What's that missing bolt there?
The corner lenses are car specific, but they don't line up.. why?
what is that?

This is actually my car, and my friend was posting for me since i didn't have an account.
I traded my 1987 bmw 325e with a bad fuel pump(i think) for this. The kid i got the car from claims it only needs a head gasket and alternator. I figured this civic would be alot cheaper to fix them my bimmer. I'm pretty new with mechanics, but i seem to learn pretty fast. I'm only 17 years old. I want to know if i should replace the head gasket myself since i'm new at this. What to look for, and any special precautions i should take. Thanks

what do you mean the front isn't lined up? the corner lenses just have different bends then the fenders do. maybe you've noticed something else??

In those pictures you posted...
Are all the body panels bolted down? Everything is attached etc...?
B/c those gaps are huge, and they're everywhere. Definitely not how it's supposed to be.
And the previous owner should be shot for what he did to your interior.
(be careful, you only have one post left today)

No, The bumper is just sitting on there, and the hood latch is broken.
But fatass who owned the car before me, decided to rip the bumper off or something and all the holes to attach the bumper, are no longer holes, they are now slots.
ALso the corner lenses are just kinda sitting there, but the line son those and the fender are different anyway.
Can anyone locate me to some tutorials on changing a head gasket for this motor? i've searched with no results. d16z6
