Just got Honda S2000 HID setup... how easy is it to retro?
I just got a great deal on a whole HID setup from an S2000. Can you just clarify with me what i need off the s2000 in order to directly put them into my aftermarket civic head lights?
2) Projectors
(2) Ballasts
(2) HID Bulbs
(2) Ballast Covers/mounts
(2) Ballast connectors
Is there anything else needed from the kit? like shrouds for the lights
Also how easy should it be able to fit into some aftermarket head lights with angel eyes such as the ones pictured below?
Also i heard that the s2000 hid system is very gd quality, is this true?
THANKS A LOT!!!

No one is giving any help either...

Re: (J1A1H)
RETROFIT
It means taking a projector, ballast, bulb, etc. and putting them into your stock (OEM) housing. It's all custom fab work; no one way to do it. Your best bet is to open up your headlights and see how you can make it work. Good luck.
Edit: Dont put projectors in aftermarket "projector headlights". They dont do anything for you...

do you really like those aftermarket headlights though? I think they look like ****. You should find a way to retrofit it to the oem housing.

the s2k hid is very nice. you can do couple of things. retro it into a set of aftermarket headlamps like the one shown, but imo i much prefer if its retro into the tyc projectors, looks much better. you can also retro into a set of aftermarket stock replacement lamp that has the non refluted lenses. ur stock headlamps have refluted lenses, so if u retro it in, u will not a get a very clean cut off and have a wide spread beam. do it right the first time, take ur time and the outcome would be great.
