Just got done with B18b1 swap into EG. wont run right, need help.
I had this in the Integra forum with no luck.
The car is a 92 Civic HB. with a B18b1 motor, use to be a automatic motor but i made it a manual when i put it into the civic, so maybe i need adjustment but here is my situation.....
i got the swap done a while back and ive been working out the problems as they come up. My problem i am having right now is that it doesnt idle right. I have read about 30 threads by now and more to come after i finish this question. My car when i start it idles at a stead 2 grand. I read that putting your finger over the holes inside your throttle body is a test for your FITV. I put my finger over the bottom hole, and it had a vacume before and after. when i put my finger over the upper hole inside the throttle body and it killed the motor. When the car finally warms up it idles betweed like 500 and 900(give or take 100).
I just did a test and my voltage to my TPS was .8 at closed throttle, and at WOT i had 4.8. if someone could tell me what it should be at, if you could tell me a link to find out other voltages for other sensors that be awsome.
I also found oil on my spark plug wires, it leaked from my valve cover, so maybe that made the car idle funny, i dont know, but i am taking care of that if someone could help that be great.
