Default Just finished changing VSS wire (cut off old head and recrimped new one) and IAT sensor replacement.

Ok, so I buy these two things used on HT for $30 shipped to me. Easy. I take the IAT sensor, and replace the one I had in my IM (GSR IM) easily by doing two philips head bolts. Then, I removed my aftermarket intake (yes I'm waiting for my GSR SRI so i can CARB and BAR) and went to do the VSS wire. I'm crimping, so i remove some of the plastic shroud with my wire cutter, and then I proceed to cut off the old head and new head. After stripping and crimping, everything was tight and completed. I put back the intake and proceed to test drive the car... no more IAT CEL upon start, but the SPEEDO is still dead! I was like OMFG WHY ME and i drove around in circles around my neighborhood. I then got an idea to reset my trip meter.... BAM! the speedo just decided to work after that. I think that that was the magic touch. Just as some advice, i suggest the next guy try the same thing! (i reset my ecu, all kinda stuff, lol) Good luck and I hope y'all's repairs/replacements have been as good as mine!
