just drove the Civic hybrid.
My step dad just traded in his 99 Landcruiser for a 03 Civic Hybrid. To tell you the truth its a nice little car, i got to drive it and it rides really smooth (sound deadoning) has Cd player, and power everything. I really like the electronic gauge cluster. Also has power assist on the gauges i guess when you brake it charges the battery. and when you stop at a stop light the engine shutts off and then when you let off the brake to hit the gas the engine turns on again. Its so weird at a stop light, its so quiet. I think he got it for 21 w/ taxes and registration. I dont know if you know but registering new cars is about to cost you three times as much very soon here in California. A great daily driver and i give it a Ill be smoking all you bseries powered crxs with 11sec 0-60 tims and 46/61mpg

LOL! But seriously, that sounds awesome. I've been wanting to get one for the longest time. I know it's not fast and whatever, but I love the fact that it produces practically no emissions, gets awesome gas mileage, and is an all-around good commuter. The price tag is a bit high for me, but I'd really love to own one. If they could drop it to maybe $16K then I'd get one, and even then $16K would still be hurting my wallet. I hate being poor!
