Default it just died!

two weeks ago i swapped a B18B1 into my 93 hatch. it's been having idling problems and dies at idle sometimes. and today i was on my way home from the beach at a red light and she died! but this time she wouldn't start back up like usual. so i had her towed back to my house and still can't figure out why she won't start. the motor is out of a 94 integra Ls with 25,000 miles. when she did idle it was at about 1,000 rpms and ran hella strong. PLEASE HELP!!! with any ideas, would be very helpful.

well today i tried jump start it and it fired right up like nothing was wrong. so i let it idle in my garage for about an hour, it ran great.so then i turned it off and tried to restart it and there was no power no lights or anything so i hope that it's just the alternater.. i'll find out tomorrow. it's only been two days but i realy miss driving my car.

and i used a manual LS tranny,i tried to get a b16 tranny but they were hard as hell to find, and when i did find one they wanted a lot of money for it

thanks for all the help and any other ideas would be nice, you know just incase

my day is even worse got done doing everything with my b18b into my 94 cx and went out to drive it, my first time ever driving it and i go about 1 mile and my car dies i pop the hood and i see liquid pooring out dont know where its from, i thought it was brake fluid because i just got finished with bleeding the brakes before i took her for a ride, well i managed to start the car don't know why it died in the first place, so i get home look to find where the leak is coming from, turns out one of the tranny bolt was loose i go to tighten it and the tranny case breaks on me i don't know what to do i'm pretty sure i need a new tranny, tranny fluid keeps leaking, i'm so stressed out i think i'm gonna get a type r tranny or gsr tranny with type r lsd and sell my car. paid $1300 for the motor and tranny and i don't even get to enjoy driving for more then 10 minutes before the **** ***** me over now since i need a new tranny there goes my money i've been saving up for turbo.

i'd guess main relay, when it dies or is about to die do you try and rev it back up or press on the clutch and it will not do anything?

Also check to hear when u crank, if gas is flowing by putting your head towards the back where the fuel pump is. I had the same problems and figured out it was my main relay. If it is the main relay, just tap it a few times. Its by your hood release button, when my main relay was dying and my car wouldn't start, i'd nudge it a few times and it's start back up

I HAD an extra B series alternator until the other day man. Just sold it. Yeah I got an LS tranny as well, but I think Im skipping the LS route and going big.

UPDATE: he changed the battery, it will now crank but wont start. Is it something in the wiring of the distributor? Thanks for the help.

Good to hear that you solved your problem. I just wanted to add that sometimes a small wire grounding on the throttle body housing will come loose causing hard starting, erratic idling and other problems, you may even notice the MPH gauge jumping around. All you got to do is tighten this sucker up and it'll run fine.
