Just curious if I got a good deal
I just bought a '95 manual Del Sol Si with 138k miles its pretty clean with only a few things that needed doing(as far as I know), the stereo is aftermarket, but only 2 speakers work right now (loose connection somewhere I gotta find it) greddy exhaust, enkei wheels with some chips on them, skunk 2 lowering springs, Python alarm system, and cold air intake. I spent about 70 bucks replacing a few little things myself like the thermostat, and coolant, an oil/oilfilter change, filled all the fluids etc, no leaks, no rust that I have found, and only a couple dents, one you can see in the video on the passenger door, another on the front left fender, the interior is pretty clean too, I paid $3800 cash, he was asking $4000 here is the vid... what do you think? and just to try and make it a tiny bit more tech related, are there some common problems I should look out for (I know about the IACV/FITV stuff, but it hasn't happened yet) or things I should definitely check soon that may not be as obvious? and the antenna still works!! Thanks

Re: Just curious if I got a good deal
Personally, I would say you did but that goes before KBB and research. Just as long as you don't over pay just like I did. It looks clean and dent free, feel free to post up a "My New Car" post. 1st order of business, kill switch every thing, ha ha. Cool car!
Oh yeah, as far as tech is concerned I would check some of the norms for 100k+ water pump, AC, seals, compression, have a comp. hooked up just to be safe, and you know just give the car a 100% once over so you know where the problems are. It isn't the diagnosis that costs much, it is fixing the issues, if any. Trust me, I paid too much for a 1/2 done car awhile ago but I learned and I'm not giving it up.

as long as you feel like you got a good deal thats all that matters you could have paid full price and been happy with that just as I would or could have bargained for the same car for half the price if i felt that was all it was worth to me. If your cool with the car then you got a good deal, just keep it serviced and maintained
