just built a ls-vtec, question on break-in and tuning?
hi everyone,
this is my first time on honda-tech, i just built a ls-vtec and i'm kinda nervous about my break-in precedure and then overall tuning. I really don't want this thing to blow up. My setup is: B18A block, SiR head, stock crank, stock ls rods with B16A pistons. up-top, comp cam valve train, type r cams, type r valves. skunk2 intake manifold... I was told this makes 11.8:1 cr. I've recently heard some bad news about the comp cam valve train, that they can seize up with high lift cams, is this true? Is there any special way to break in a frank? and i'm assuming to dyno tune is the only way to go...
Thx guys, any help or info will be appreciated...
