just bought a del sol need some quick help.
found a good deal on a del sol with the blown engine.
not sure what to plan for it yet. if anyone cound give me some quick answers.
i own an integra and never dealt with del sol in the past.
are there any other D series besides original D15B7 that would go in without modifications and bolt up the to the original tranny?
in order to swap LS motor in it i would obviously need the following( motor, mounts, axles,)
shift linkage? integra hubs? can i plug a p75 ecu into the original wire harness?(both obd1)
also my buddy said that even though theres no power mirrors the wires are still there and i need only the power mirrors and connectors.
how thick is the front sway bar on del sol, and would a type-r rear sway bar fit with no problems?
i know i can find all the info myself but it will take me days to do so and i dont have much time, its parked at my friends garage and i need to decide quick what to do with it, i dont want to take up his garage for more than a week or two since i dont have my own garage.
and no its not stolen i just bought it today and need to get it running or figure out quick if i want to swap my LS motor or fix the single cam thats in it.

So you probably have a '93-'95 del Sol S, based on the D15B7.
A del Sol has the same engine swap options as any other '92-'00 Civic.
So you can put in a B16A, B16B, B18B, B18C, B20, D15, D16, F-series, H-series, J-series, K-series, ZC...
del Sol front sway bar is 21 or 23mm, whatever 6G Civic EX is. ITR rear sway bar will fit.

More Sol-specific info and activity can be found at Team SolCal, Sol Society and Team Sol International... lots of good stuff available via the search feature. The most activity will be on the TSC site, though.

i had a 94 del sol and i swapped a h22a4 from 01 prelude... if u go that big you'll deffinately be able to feel the strain on that tiny car. not to mention you'll bottom out on almost everything on the road.

Yea del sol will handle a B-series they had a 95-97 del sol that had a B16A3 in it which is basically the same as a B16A2 in 99-00 Civic si's infact i own two of these B16A3's and they only made those in the del sols

Re: just bought a del sol need some quick help.
those are aftermarket. or they're painted to match.
my 95 has em. big ugly black ones. and that might be why.
they look fine without em.
you can handle a built GSR just fine. you tube for del sol videos theres a 600whp, B18 i think is the motor.

You could swap in anything you wanted just like any other 92-95 or rebuild and turbo the d15. You could aslo swap to a d16z6 and turbo it. Depending on where you find your parts you can prob pick up a z6 and turbo it cheaper than a b-series swap. You would only need to run 3 wire and either get a p28 ecu or chip and program your p06. Xenoncron has a chip and vtec conversion kit for your ecu for about 30 bucks. For a little more they will even do a base map for you. The z6 can be had from people that swap to a b or h fairly cheap as low as a couple hundred bucks.
