just bought the car...
well i just bought a hatch two weeks ago in cali and drove it all the way to illinois with no problem. then before i when to drive to canada i changed the oil, spark plugs, plig wires, cap, and rotor. drove it all the way to canada and back to illinois with no problem. i know there has been a lot of post about this subject and i have read most of them, but i won't be able to check them tomarrow morning. i want to get some insight on what my car is doing. well the problem is that the car cranks but it won't start. i have tried to spray some starter fluid to check to see if its the fuel delivery today, but it didn't work. so i want to know what else to check for tomarrow (i'll be checking to see if i have spark, and timing tomarrow). to make note; everything still works in the car such as the sunroof, radio, lights, and this is a 93 si hatch and everything stock. thanks in advance.

Re: just bought the car... (B18bEG6ick)
well i had to flip the car and forgot that there was a switch on the car for the alarm that the owner told me about. so i switched it to the other position and tried turning it on that way. well for some strange reason it wanted to turn on.. it took awhile for it to start, but it turned on. when i turned it on the car was running really rough though. i don't know if its out of timing or not. if you guys can help me on this that will be awesome. this is my daily driver too, oh yea this car just hit 170k and the previous owner told me that the timing was changed before. thanks guys.

the main relay is located under the kick panel behind the hood release. to check it, just take it out with a 10mm wrench and unclip the harness. then look at it and see if you need to solder it or anything. if you dont want to solder it, then get a new one from honda. about $60.

i only used it once though? i don't know if that will do anything to the car? is it really bad for the car if i only used it once?
well i just took out the spark plugs today and spark plug 1,3,4 is black. i replaced them two weeks ago and also i they smell like fuel. so does that rule out the main relay? i'm going to check to see if i am getting spark this weekend, too busy to do other test. what do you guys think? thanks

I'm not going to pick on you about grammar, but would you mind useing caps where needed?
I realize you're in a rush and want to get your car fixed but it makes me not ant to read it.
OH yeah, I want to help you too....

Re: (-Gary-)
Sorry about the non caps, I never thought that people would mind. Since you said it I will try to do them whenever it's necessary. So you have any ideas on what can be wrong with the car? Is the main relay out of the question now, since i can smell fuel on the plugs? Also when I put the ignition to KOEO, I only heard one click? Thanks in advance.
