Just bought a 96 hatch...........
Well I have been looking for a project hybrid and finally found one... It's a 96 CX silver and needs both front fenders new axle, the airbag has been discharged, new windshield and has a big *** dent in the back hatch. Your probably saying to yourself what an idiot, but i got it for next to nothing so I figure fixing these relatively easy problems won't cost much... CMON SALVAGE YARD!! Anyone know where I can get this stuff relatively cheap? I was also thinking about just putting an aftermarket steering wheel on since the airbag was out.... Thx

while you was at the salvage yard picking up your hatch (BTW good choice on the car) you should of looked around for the parts you needed,..junk yards are usually cheap

Re: Just bought a 96 hatch........... (ITR632)
i found this one out the hard way...shipping parts via fed ex or ups is $$$. a hood from import auto salvage in NC was 150 but the shipping was around $250! hell naw am i paying that! if you're up to it, try and take a look at rear hatches that are light weight ... http://www.pac-gate.co.jp/back-yd/ check it there...something i've drooled over for a couple of days now. also, maybe you'd wanna do the front end conversion to a '99 (or maybe you just wanna friggin motor in that sucker already!) so i'll stop right here...
