Default Jumped Timing

well wut the hell..is my luck shitty or what..i just bought this car last week-91 Civic hatchback 1.5ltr 4 speed_ its got 132k miles, runs like a top..no ticks or knocks and burns very little oil on start up. well i pulled up to a stoplight today and it jus started idlin ruff and finally shitted out. well i tried startin it up and all it would do is pop and kick back. right then i knew it jumped timing, or the fuel pump went out starvin it for gas. so i got it towed to my house, checked all the fuses, good checked the plugs, good and a brownish, greyish color , but 2 of them were soakin wet with gas, and the other 2 were dry. i checked the firing and all are firing. so my question is, why would it jump timing??the belt is rather tight, tight enough to not jump i would think. the guy i bought it from said the belt was changed about 10k miles ago. i noticed when i first got it that when the motor was under a load, you could hear it rattling(pinging if thats what you wanna call it) so i got it home, moved the distributor, but still no diffrent. So could that have made it jump?that it was off enough to put enough strain on the belt and jump a couple groves??help!!!

how do you know it jumped timing? can you visually see that the belt is off? have you realigned the crank and cam gear?

i pulled the cover off and the belt was still on...and rather tight..as of right now im not thinkin it jumped timing. but today i aligned the crank and cam back up and put the belt on, still will not start. all it does is pop and thump thru the exhaust. Yesterday, 2 of the sparkplugs were soakin wet and 2 were dry, now today after alignin the crank and cam, 1 plug is soakin wet and the other 3 are dry. i just dont get it. Either its not gettin gas like its suposed to, or i have it timed wrong. i set the crank on TDC and set the cam like the pic showed out of the book. the word UP is up, 2 marks on the left and right of the cam gear going straight across, and the bottom mark on the gear at about 7 oclock. Anyone kno where the fuel filter is on this thing??and is the fuel pump in the gas tank or somwhere else??NEED HELP!!IM STUMPED!

just follow the hard lines from the tank to the fuel rail and you'll see the filter (end of the hard lines from the tank). fuel pump is right on top of the tank, you'll have to pull out some interior to get to it.
