Default J's Racing Intake Question

Does anyone know if the fakie ebay copies of the j's intake are pretty similar in quality to the real thing. Obviously the coating is less heat resistant, but i would rattle can it flat black the first day i had it with high temp paint. Does the j's intake have anyything inside it to speed up air flow? i have an aem cai now but i figure i could buy the ebay one for 30 bucks and sell my aem for like 100+30 shipping to some ebay ricer because it says AEM

Give me your input on the intake in general too. I have searched and found some stuff in the ITR forums, but i need to get some more opinions of this banana looking thing.

The real one's design itself is worth the money, I'm not sure about the ebay one as far as quality... its ebay so it can't be as good as the j's, but the j's is real carbon fiber( for temp reasons) and the fat design speeds air flow. if i were you, i would sell the AEM and just buy a ebay cold air. they are the same quality, It would really be useless to buy the ebay fat one, because its not heat resistant, so its pretty much a short ram. you'll get the better bang for your dollar with the ebay cold air.

here we go again.... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=454121

go there for info on J's
and NO the ebay CAI is not as good as AEM. Most of the time the ebay ones are not truely mandrel bent so they narrow at the bends, also, AEM uses a heat resistant coating on all of their intakes. Always remember that you get what you pay for.

J's Racing intake chamber is produced in carbon fiber, as well as plastic.
