Hello H-T I have a 1998 civic with a JDM B18C (GSR). I am running an skunk 2 intake manifold, dc header w/ test pipe, and I am running Hondata s200. I have no check engine lights. My car sometimes does the weirdest thing where in first gear it will miss throttle then seem to catch and jerk, or it will start out fine in first gear and then jump like its missing. I have replaced the spark plugs, completely rebuilt the distributor just bought a brand new alternator and redid the alternator belt and power steering belt. I am wondering if possibly the O2 sensor could be bad? Or if someone may think its an ECU problem. It doesn't always do this its just a random thing but when it rains it pours and its really kind of scary especially when pulling out into traffic and it misses or jumps/jerks in gear. Any kind of help or input would be awesome!

Have you replaced the plug wires?

Voltages correct for the TPS?

I haven't replaced plug wires and I am not sure I can check the voltage on TPS...any other things, its really a crazy situation and it doesn't do it a lot

Replace the plug wires and go from there.

waiting on plug wires, they had to special order NGK

alright new plug wires installed and checked the voltage on tps still does it...new symptom/better explanation is the throttle is sticking. It always happens in first gear or going to second gear the throttle will stick/miss and jerk the car and sometimes if I am in gear the throttle feels sticky but other times it doesn't. Sometimes it will be perfectly fine. The throttle cable is secured and it is not broken or anything.

Clean the throttle body and make sure the throttle cable has about 1/2" of slack.
