beam pattern
usdm headlights are meant for the car to be on the right side of the road, and to aim left
Jdm headlights are meant for the car to be on the left side of the road, and aim right.

USDM
-made of glass
-has 3 aiming nipples on each headlamp
-heavy
-entire assembly moves when adjusting beam
-beam pattern has hot spots and is aim to the right
-no city light
-bulb size h4
JDM
-made of plastic
-no nipples, same fluted lens
-lighter then usdm counterpart
-inner reflectors move while aiming, not headlamp assembly
-throws a nice blanket of light and is aim towards the left
-bulb size 194 city light
-main bulb size h4h
-made of glass

Not to mention, if you want to upgrade to HIDs later on, I did a write-up on how to install factory OEM Acura TL D2R HIDs into them, with a fairly nice beam pattern, and minimal glare (for a non-projector setup). This was also written up before they started making H4H HID kits, so if you don't care to have the quality and reliability of OEM HIDs, then go with the aftermarket ones.

your write up doesn't have any pics, they are all red X.
and what is this beam pattern you guys speak of? i've never noticed any beam shooting to the left on my headlights.
